The 55th edition of the Salone del Mobile . The Salone del Mobile is a showcase of innovation and business. Three collateral events dedicated respectively to the philosophies of living, to classic furniture and to finishes for architecture, as well as a short film by Matteo Garrone. A must for the sector, which brings the latest innovations in products and solutions to the international stage and reaffirms the role of capital of design in Milan. A great moment of business that alone – last year – generated an induced amount of 221 million euros.
The Salone will then pay tribute to design before actual design, explains the President Roberto Snaidero , with the exhibition-event Before Design: Classic in pavilion 15 F15 / H18, a reflection on the classic soul of contemporary living under the artistic direction of Studio Ciarmoli Queda , with the special contribution of an author’s short film signed by Matteo Garrone . Last but not least, the event in the city directly connected with the Salone, the space&interiors exhibition at The Mall Porta Nuova organized by MADE expo and Brera Design District , with an installation by the Migliore + Servetto Architects studio.
